Senior Project Manager, People Projects – Temporary (6 months)

Arc'Teryx is seeking a Senior Project Manager, People Projects to lead organizational development initiatives in North Vancouver, Greater Vancouver. This is a six-month full-time contract position offering the opportunity to shape and advance the company's people-focused programming through strategic project leadership.

About This Position

As Senior Project Manager, People Projects, you will guide people-centred initiatives from conception through successful execution. Working alongside Program Managers, you'll establish project foundations by defining clear objectives, scope, budgets, and resource requirements. You will own the approval process, establish measurable success metrics, and drive the evolution and scaling of Arc'Teryx's people programs to meet the growing needs of the organization and its workforce.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle for people initiatives, from initial planning through delivery and post-implementation review
• Develop project briefs in partnership with Program Managers, outlining objectives, scope, budget parameters, and resource needs
• Design approval workflows and decision-making frameworks to ensure timely project advancement
• Establish and monitor project success criteria, ensuring all deliverables meet organizational standards and business needs
• Lead initiatives that strengthen, innovate, and expand Arc'Teryx's people programs to support workforce capability and engagement
• Manage stakeholder communications, track project progress, and resolve obstacles to maintain momentum
• Contribute strategic insights to optimize people programs and drive lasting organizational impact

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects in senior-level roles, ideally within human resources or organizational development
• Strong proficiency in project planning, budget management, and resource allocation
• Proven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Track record of delivering measurable outcomes and driving program innovation
• Project management certification or equivalent professional experience
