The Opportunity

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for our Dobie, Timiskaming location. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation processes
  • Maintain and update confidential employee records and personnel files
  • Administer employee benefits programmes and answer questions from staff
  • Assist with payroll coordination and processing
  • Support training and professional development programmes
  • Help ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR policies
  • Manage general HR administrative projects and communications

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; HR certification or relevant post-secondary qualification a plus
  • Experience in a Human Resources, administration, or similar support role
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfort using HR systems, databases, and standard office applications
  • Working knowledge of Canadian employment law and best practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Collaborative attitude and genuine interest in supporting employees
