What This Role Involves
As a.NET Backend Developer at Mindera, you will design, build, and optimize backend services and APIs that power our products. You'll work across the full software development lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance—using C#,.NET Core, and related frameworks. Your contributions will directly impact system performance, reliability, and scalability for a global user base.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and.NET
- Design database schemas and implement data access layers
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other engineers
- Debug production issues and optimize application performance
- Implement automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Document technical specifications and architectural decisions
Qualifications
- Solid experience developing backend applications with C# and.NET (Core or Framework)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL systems
- Familiarity with REST API design and HTTP fundamentals
- Ability to write unit tests and work within automated testing frameworks
- Comfortable with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
