As a Transplant Physician Liaison, you'll serve as a vital connector between transplant physicians, hospital networks, and patients across a multi-state region. Your position demands travel throughout assigned territories to cultivate relationships, educate stakeholders, and advance the transplant program's reach and reputation. This role combines relationship-building expertise with clinical knowledge to drive referrals and patient outcomes in transplantation.

What You'll Do

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with transplant physicians and referring hospitals throughout your territory
• Educate physicians, hospital administrators, and clinical staff about Vumc's transplant services and program capabilities
• Coordinate between external medical professionals and the transplant team to ensure seamless patient referrals
• Represent Vumc at medical conferences, community events, and professional meetings across the region
• Travel extensively (75%) to visit facilities, conduct clinical education sessions, and support transplant program growth
• Provide regular updates to transplant program leadership on market conditions and referral patterns
