Care Partner – Adult Float Pool FT (Days and Nights)

Join Vumc as a Care Partner in our Adult Float Pool, where you'll support patient care across multiple units in our Nashville, TN healthcare facility. Role Overview

As a full-time Care Partner in the Adult Float Pool, you're a vital member of the clinical team, providing direct support to patients and nursing staff. Your flexibility and compassion make you essential to maintaining patient comfort and dignity across different adult care units. You'll work rotating days and nights, gaining exposure to various clinical environments and patient populations.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Support nursing staff with patient care tasks and procedures
• Help maintain clean, comfortable patient environments
• Respond promptly to patient requests and call lights
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Support patient mobility and safety as directed by clinical protocols
