About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Team Leader for their picking and order fulfillment operations in Neuss. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll actively work alongside your team in a dynamic warehouse environment while coordinating shift operations and ensuring smooth daily processes.

Our client operates a growing logistics operation with structured workflows and short decision-making chains. You'll lead your team through shift rotations while personally contributing to picking, packing, and material handling activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your team during shift operations, serving as a role model on the warehouse floor
• Actively participate in order picking, combining articles, and packing operations
• Operate forklift equipment and provide hands-on operational support to team members
• Coordinate and delegate tasks based on team members' capabilities and workload priorities
• Plan shift schedules, assignments, and daily priorities to meet operational targets
• Identify disruptions early and implement corrective measures to maintain workflow
• Optimize picking processes and ensure smooth operational execution
• Monitor quality of picked goods and ensure accuracy standards are met
• Document relevant processes and maintain operational oversight
• Work in temperature-controlled areas (4–6 degrees Celsius) as required

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading and managing warehouse teams
• Practical background in warehousing, logistics, or order fulfillment operations
• Current experience operating forklift equipment and material handling machinery
• Very good German language skills (written and spoken)
• Reliable, structured, and solution-oriented work approach
• Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation system
• Ability to work in cold storage environments when needed

Pay
