Survey Manager – 2887

Wade Trim is hiring a full-time Survey Manager to lead our field operations and surveying team in Flint, Genesee County. This role offers the opportunity to manage survey projects from inception through completion, working with a respected engineering and surveying firm.

About the Role

As Survey Manager at Wade Trim, you'll oversee survey operations, coordinate field teams, and ensure project deliverables meet our high standards for accuracy and timeliness. You'll manage multiple concurrent projects, maintain client relationships, and drive continuous improvement across surveying practices.

What You'll Do

• Direct and supervise survey crews conducting field work, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and project specifications
• Plan survey methodologies, coordinate equipment deployment, and optimize field logistics across Genesee County and surrounding regions
• Review survey data, verify measurements, and maintain quality control throughout the data collection process
• Communicate project status and results to clients and internal stakeholders, providing professional reports and documentation
• Manage survey budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Train and mentor survey technicians and crew members, fostering professional development within the team

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing survey operations or leading surveying teams
• Strong knowledge of surveying practices, equipment, and industry standards
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work in the field and office environments
• Leadership experience and strong communication abilities
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the service area
