About the Role
As a Beautician with Commonwealth Senior Living at Hillsville, you will partner with our community as an independent contractor, delivering hair and salon services that help residents look and feel their very best. Each appointment is more than a routine visit—it's a chance to build genuine relationships, boost confidence, and add a personal touch to the daily lives of the seniors we serve. This full-time role is based on-site in Hillsville, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional salon and beautician services to residents within our senior living community.
- Foster warmth, comfort, and connection during every appointment, helping residents feel valued and cared for.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting salon environment for all clients.
- Coordinate appointments and services in partnership with the community team.
- Tailor each service to the individual preferences and needs of older adults.
Qualifications
- An active cosmetology or beautician license as required to practice in Virginia.
- A patient, compassionate approach and a genuine enjoyment of working with seniors.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create a positive, friendly atmosphere.
- Reliability and professionalism in delivering consistent, high-quality services.
- Comfort working independently as a contracted service provider.
