Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on diesel engine fuel trucks and boom trucks
- Run drivability diagnostics to pinpoint and resolve mechanical issues
- Document all completed work with thorough, accurate written records
- Review driver-submitted Vehicle Condition Reports and perform the necessary repairs
- Service air and hydraulic brake systems, suspensions, transmissions, and emissions components
- Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks
- Working knowledge of air/hydraulic brakes, suspensions, transmissions, and emissions systems
- Strong diagnostic ability and attention to detail in completing repairs
- Solid recordkeeping habits and clear communication with drivers and team members
