About the Role

This part-time kitchen assistant position is essential to the Chautauqua Summer Food Program's mission of feeding children across Chautauqua County during the summer break. Based in Chadwick Bay and working under the Child Care Council Director, you'll prepare food and coordinate meal delivery to program sites throughout the county, ensuring children have access to nutritious meals.

What You'll Do

• Prepare food items and menu components according to program standards and recipes
• Manage food storage, handling, and inventory with attention to quality and safety
• Package and transport prepared meals to program sites across Chautauqua County
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
• Coordinate with site staff to ensure smooth meal service operations
