About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential advisory firm seeking an intern to join their Strategic Valuation & Modeling team in Paris starting January or March 2027. This internship is designed for students on gap year or completing their final year of studies.
Our client's team performs valuation and financial modeling engagements across transactions, accounting purposes, tax planning, and strategic decision-making for corporate and private equity clients in diverse industries.
Responsibilities
As an intern on this team, you will support:
- Business analysis and growth driver identification through strategic and financial review
- Valuation of equity and assets using standard methodologies including DCF, multiples, and net asset value approaches
- Intangible asset valuation work including purchase price allocation, brand valuation, and intellectual property assessment for transfer pricing
- Financial instrument evaluation including management package structures
- Preparation of valuation reports and client deliverables
What We're Looking For
- Strong academic background with a master's degree in finance, management, or economics from a top business school, engineering school, or university
- At least one prior internship in finance
- Solid skills in financial analysis and accounting (considered prerequisite)
- Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
- Naturally curious mindset
- Excellent communication abilities and capacity to work collaboratively in teams
- Good English proficiency
