We are representing a fast-growing technology company in the industrial software space. Following a heavily oversubscribed seed round backed by top-tier venture investors, our client is scaling rapidly to meet surging market demand. They are building systems that modernize critical workflows in regulated industries.

This Special Projects role sits directly alongside executive leadership and operates as an internal SWAT team—taking on whatever the business needs most urgently at any given moment. One week you might be preparing materials for a funding milestone; the next, you could be navigating market entry questions for a new geography or temporarily owning an entire function until a permanent hire comes on board. There is no fixed remit and no playbook.

This is a high-leverage, high-trust position for someone early in their career who thrives in ambiguity, operates with obsessive attention to detail, and closes loops without needing supervision. The work ranges from strategic to operational, and much of it is unglamorous but mission-critical. If you want to be in the room where decisions are made and are prepared to do whatever it takes to move the company forward, this is an exceptional opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff on the company's highest-priority initiatives
• Prepare materials and financial models for fundraising, board meetings, and strategic reviews
• Research and resolve legal, regulatory, and commercial questions for new market entries
• Temporarily own critical functions until permanent leadership is hired
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams with zero dropped threads
• Produce board memos, customer-facing documents, executive presentations, and operational analyses
• Clean, structure, and interpret business and customer data as needed
• Identify process gaps and build solutions that allow the team to scale

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years in a high-performance environment: investment banking, strategy consulting (MBB or equivalent), or a fast-growth startup
• An exceptional academic and professional track record—you were consistently at the top of your cohort
• AI-native work style: you default to AI tools to 10x your output and continuously find new ways to compress timelines
• Structured thinker who can break messy, ambiguous problems into logical parts and prioritize ruthlessly
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and written communication
• Ruthless organizational discipline—you manage multiple streams, catch your own mistakes, and close loops independently
• Bias to action: you ship good plans today rather than perfect plans next week
• Low ego, high agency: equally comfortable drafting a board memo or cleaning a dataset at 9pm
• Commitment to full-time, in-person work at the Shoreditch office in London
• Nice to have: fluency in German or French
