Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential product consultancy in Paris that is building a specialized R&D task force focused on production-grade cloud and AI platforms. This is not about proof-of-concepts—our client helps organizations transition from experimental deployments to enterprise-scale, secure, and observable cloud-native architectures.

We are seeking a Solution Architect who can design platform architectures that become industry standards: cloud infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, SRE practices, security frameworks, and industrialized generative AI systems.

Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect, you will:

• Design cloud and AI platforms: Architect reference implementations for multi-tenant, event-driven, API-first systems that support robust and secure product delivery
• Optimize cost, latency, and reliability: Define FinOps and performance strategies including caching, autoscaling, serverless vs. container trade-offs, CPU/GPU scheduling, and multi-model AI approaches; measure impact on SLOs
• Build data foundations: Design data architecture for cloud environments and generative AI workloads, including retrieval systems
• Evaluate build vs. buy: Assess managed services versus self-hosted solutions with pragmatic decision frameworks
• Industrialize delivery: Establish platform engineering practices (CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code) and reproducible environments for both traditional cloud applications and AI workloads
• Implement security and compliance: Deploy IAM, secrets management, encryption, network policies, audit trails, data boundaries, and AI-specific safeguards (content filtering, prompt injection mitigation, output constraints)
• Build observability: Create observability stacks (logs, metrics, traces, OpenTelemetry), define SLO/SLI, configure alerting, write runbooks, and conduct postmortems—including for generative AI pipelines (latency, cost, quality, hallucination monitoring)
• Conduct architecture audits: Analyze client platform scalability (quotas, rate limiting, contention, costs, availability, DR/BCP) and propose modernization roadmaps
• Define technical standards: Establish architecture and operations standards (landing zones, integration patterns, golden paths, templates) to accelerate team productivity
• Mentor technical teams: Upskill developers and SREs on cloud platforms, Kubernetes, security, IaC, and AI industrialization (LLMOps, evaluation, governance)

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Senior architect or engineer with proven experience building and operating distributed systems in production (scalability, reliability, security)—not just prototypes
• Deep cloud and DevOps expertise: solid hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, Kubernetes, networking, IAM, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi), and GitOps
• Excellent communication skills: ability to frame problems, simplify complexity, persuade stakeholders, and guide multiple teams (product, security, data, development) without dogmatism
• French and English language proficiency for working in Paris

Preferred:

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• SRE mindset: think in SLOs, error budgets, observability, resilience (chaos engineering, disaster recovery); balance time-to-market against robustness
• Generative AI awareness: understand fundamentals of industrializing GenAI (RAG, evaluation, prompt engineering, tooling, governance, security) and how to integrate these components into cloud platforms
