Software Implementation Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is transforming clinical workflows across the NHS and beyond. Our talent team is seeking a Software Implementation Engineer based in London to own the technical delivery of complex enterprise deployments.

This is a hands-on role where you will personally configure, integrate, and optimize technical environments for healthcare clients. You'll work at the intersection of customer success and engineering—setting up SSO, delivering EHR integrations, provisioning tenants, configuring agents, and ensuring every technical aspect of an account launch is delivered to specification.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical onboarding: tenant configuration, user provisioning, SSO setup (SAML/OIDC with Okta, Microsoft Entra, NHS identity infrastructure), and MFA alignment
• Drive network and device readiness, including whitelisting, VDI constraints, shared-device configurations, and mobile device management
• Deliver EHR integrations from signed SOW through to go-live: validate designs, configure components, perform technical testing, support UAT, and execute go-live activities
• Translate integration requirements into precise specs for development teams and surface gaps to technical program management
• Configure agentic workflows, agents, and custom builds to match clinical and operational workflows
• Provide first-line technical diagnosis during implementation and hypercare: resolve configuration issues directly and route confirmed product defects to support engineering with clear diagnostics
• Work within NHS governance frameworks including clinical safety sign-off, information governance approvals, and change-control windows
• Support DPIAs, security questionnaires, and IT assurance requests with accurate technical input
• Manage scope control: classify emerging requests as configuration, defect, new engineering, roadmap item, or commercial change, and escalate material scope changes before committing
• Document final configurations and transfer implementations into hypercare or BAU support with clean handover

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience configuring enterprise identity systems (SSO, SAML, OIDC) and provisioning user environments
• Technical delivery experience in complex B2B or healthcare environments, ideally within the NHS
• Strong understanding of integration delivery: API configuration, data flows, testing protocols, and go-live execution
• Ability to diagnose technical problems quickly and route them to the correct owner with clear evidence
• Credibility in front of CIOs and IT teams; you can translate customer needs into actionable technical requirements
• Experience working within governance frameworks (clinical safety, information governance, security assurance)
• Excellent scope management: you know the difference between configuration, defect, and net-new build, and you escalate scope changes rather than absorbing them silently
• Outcome-focused and comfortable working at pace in a scale-up environment
• Comfortable working hybrid with 3 days per week in the London office
