Our talent team is seeking a skilled Software Developer specializing in simulation technology to join their dynamic engineering team. Responsibilities
- Develop and extend C++ modules within the Unreal Engine and related simulation software platforms
- Implement and integrate interface emulators and tools to support simulation solutions
- Conduct performance analysis, profiling, and optimization of existing software components
- Participate in automation of build processes, testing, and CI/CD pipelines on Windows and Linux platforms
- Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to advance innovative simulation technologies
- Document developed software and support adherence to development processes
- Assist with containerization and deployment of software components in virtualized environments
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
- Professional experience developing Blueprints and working with the Unreal Engine, ideally including multiplayer programming
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong programming skills in modern C++ (minimum C++17) and multithreading applications
- Knowledge of performance optimization, profiling, and debugging of Unreal Engine applications
- Proficiency with build systems, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerization technologies such as Docker on Windows and Linux
- Experience with ffmpeg or comparable multimedia frameworks is advantageous
- Excellent German and English language skills (C1 level German is mandatory as it is the business language)
