Software-Entwickler (m/w/d) C++

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology client in Aalen, Baden-Württemberg, seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to join their team. In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions with customer-specific implementations
• Expand an innovative, service-oriented software architecture
• Develop applications in C++ for both Linux and Windows environments
• Ensure code quality through regular and structured code reviews
• Utilize modern software technologies and tools including git, Atlassian suite, CMake, C++17/20, and MQTT
• Collaborate within a motivated development team
• Plan and implement software development following agile principles
• Work with continuous integration environments for server-side builds and testing

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in software development with a strong commitment to clean, efficient code
• Proven experience conducting code reviews and enforcing quality standards
• Excellent programming skills in C++17 or newer, including multithreading applications
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
• Very good German language skills (C1 level - mandatory as this is the business language)
• Very good English language skills (C1 level)
• Eligibility to work in Germany

Important note for international applicants: C1-level German proficiency is mandatory for this position as it is the primary business language.

This is a full-time position (35-hour work week) based in Aalen with immediate or flexible start date available.
