Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automation and logistics systems organization seeking a Field Service Technician for their Chemnitz region. In this role, you will work independently across your assigned territory and internationally, supporting the installation and maintenance of automated warehousing equipment.

• Perform mechanical assembly and installation of systems at customer sites nationally and internationally, with 100% travel readiness and typical assignments lasting two to three weeks
• Conduct independent commissioning and start-up procedures for new installations
• Support structural steel positioning and component integration during site builds
• Carry out service and maintenance visits for the global installed base
• Adapt to varied project requirements, as most installations are customized to individual client specifications

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed technical apprenticeship (e.g., mechatronics, electronics, or similar)
• Entry-level candidates or professionals with relevant field experience are both welcome
• Strong communication skills in German and English; French language skills are desirable
• Self-directed work style with a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including international assignments
• Valid Class B driver's license
