About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing fintech organization with a presence across Southeast Asia and beyond. Our client is building the next generation of mobile-first financial services, and they need a talented Mobile Application Developer to join their distributed team.
This is a remote position open exclusively to candidates based in Austria. You'll be working with a global team of over 20 nationalities who are passionate about building products that matter.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship mobile features for Android and/or iOS platforms
- Create intuitive mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and other financial services
- Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to turn complex user journeys into simple, usable mobile products
- Integrate APIs and handle edge cases, loading states, errors and production issues
- Improve app performance, reliability, crash rate and overall user experience
- Support rapid product launches, experiments and iterations across mobile experiences
- Help establish and maintain high standards for mobile product quality
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of mobile development experience building for Android, iOS or both
- Strong proficiency with Kotlin and/or Swift
- Proven track record shipping production apps used by real users
- Strong product sense and attention to mobile user experience
- Comfortable working with APIs, analytics, crash logs and production feedback
- Fast, practical approach with the ability to own work independently
- App links, GitHub profile, screenshots or examples of shipped work are highly valued
- Product-minded builder who cares about smooth flows, small details and real user behavior
- Ability to work through ambiguity and ship without waiting for perfect specifications
- Strong English communication skills for collaborating with global teams
