Senior Technical Program Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join their team in Canada. Our client is looking for an experienced operator who can drive complex transformation programs and establish operational frameworks that power technology initiatives at scale.

In this role, you will oversee high-visibility planning programs and streamline processes for building and delivering products. You'll work at the intersection of strategy, product, and engineering execution, partnering with cross-functional teams to align efforts with organizational goals and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex, multi-disciplinary transformation and operational programs that deliver value across the organization
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment on strategy, priorities, and key decisions
• Implement lean processes and establish better ways of working to realize value from planning initiatives
• Establish data-driven operational frameworks to track portfolio performance against objectives and accelerate value realization
• Develop communication strategies to ensure critical information flows seamlessly across teams
• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan change requirements, identify risks, and manage dependencies
• Identify systemic inefficiencies and experiment with solutions that bring transparency, visibility, and accountability

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of proven experience managing programs, processes, and change management in a technology-focused environment
• Strong technical background with deep understanding of software development processes
• Organized and strategic approach to collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams
• Attention to detail with the ability to make effective tradeoff decisions
• Strong stakeholder management experience with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams
• Track record of successfully implementing frameworks at scale in remote-friendly cultures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consulting skills
• Prior experience in FinTech, Payments, or Commerce is a plus
