Remote – Technical Assistant

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential client in the business process outsourcing sector. They're seeking a Remote Technical Assistant to provide critical real-time support to field technicians across the United States and Indonesia.

This is a remote position with specific technical requirements for your home office setup. You'll be the vital link between field teams and operations, ensuring seamless service delivery through troubleshooting, system coordination, and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time operational support to field technicians for installation, repair, and service assurance activities, including resolution of facility, provisioning, and inventory-related issues
• Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound calls and chats from internal work groups and field personnel, supporting service order processing, fallout resolution, and completion status inquiries
• Maintain, validate, and update fiber network inventory and facility records across designated provisioning and inventory systems to ensure data accuracy and service continuity
• Coordinate with Field Operations and other operational teams to resolve complex service or network issues and document actions and updates in client-designated systems

What We're Looking For

Technical Requirements for Remote Work:

• High-speed Internet via wired Ethernet connection (no Wi-Fi, satellite, or hotspot)
• Upload speed of 25 Mbps minimum; Download speed of 50 Mbps minimum
• Internet provider must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss
• Available cell phone or tablet with minimum system requirements of Android 8.0 and later or iOS 14 or later
• Ability to install Microsoft Authenticator (MFA) application as required by client IT security protocols

Location Requirements:

• Must be based in the State of Idaho or Indonesia

Skills and Experience:

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills for supporting internal field teams via phone and chat
• Experience with service order systems, inventory management, or telecommunications support preferred
• Ability to maintain accurate system documentation and records
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote support environment
