We are representing a confidential recruiting organization that is expanding its team in South Africa. Our talent team is seeking a motivated, results-driven Healthcare Recruiter to support client hiring needs across the healthcare sector. This remote position offers the opportunity to build meaningful talent pipelines and connect exceptional healthcare professionals with outstanding organizations.

In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and submitting qualified healthcare candidates. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand position requirements and deliver top talent across various healthcare disciplines and professional levels.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify, and engage healthcare professionals using job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques
• Manage full-cycle recruiting from initial candidate contact through submission and hiring support
• Conduct thorough candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate clinical skills, experience, credentials, and cultural fit
• Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and anticipated healthcare hiring needs
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify talent in competitive healthcare markets
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure positive engagement
• Verify candidate information including licensure, certifications, employment history, compensation expectations, and availability
• Collaborate with account management to understand healthcare position requirements and market conditions
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking within the Applicant Tracking System
• Track recruiting performance metrics and sourcing effectiveness
• Stay informed on healthcare labor market trends, recruiting technologies, and industry best practices
• Participate in networking events, professional associations, and healthcare talent community initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience
• Proven success sourcing and recruiting healthcare candidates across multiple job functions and levels
• Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong candidate sourcing, interviewing, and assessment skills specific to healthcare roles
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, recruiting databases, and sourcing tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivated with urgency and commitment to delivering results
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern recruiting technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a staffing agency, recruiting firm, or corporate healthcare talent acquisition environment
• Familiarity with advanced sourcing methodologies, Boolean search, and LinkedIn Recruiter
• Professional certifications such as AIRS, CIR, CPC, CTS, SHRM-CP, or PHR
• Knowledge of healthcare credentialing and licensing requirements
