Senior Software Engineer (Token Factory)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI cloud infrastructure organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their applied research and development team. This is a remote position focused on building large-scale LLM training platforms and inference systems.

Our client is at the forefront of AI infrastructure, working on challenging problems in GPU orchestration, model training, and production deployment. Their engineering team publishes research on agentic systems, reinforcement learning for software engineering agents, and LLM training efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale LLM training platforms using distributed systems expertise
• Maintain ML infrastructure with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Optimize job scheduling strategies to minimize resource fragmentation
• Build and enhance inference and fine-tuning platforms for AI models
• Collaborate with research teams on applied AI product development

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong software engineering skills in Python and Go
• Proficiency with modern engineering practices including CI/CD, version control, and unit testing
• Experience developing web services
• Commitment to maintaining high rigor and quality in all work

Nice to have:

• Previous experience with language models or NLP technologies
• Track record of building and shipping products in fast-paced environments
• Experience developing large distributed systems or high-load web services
• Open-source contributions demonstrating engineering skills
