Senior Sales Engineer – Majors (UK/Nordics/Netherlands)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential observability SaaS organization seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to cover UK, Nordics, and Netherlands territories. In this remote role, you will provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, delivering demonstrations and guiding enterprise customers through proof-of-value evaluations.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Partnering with account executives to articulate technical value propositions and platform capabilities to enterprise prospects
• Owning technical engagement during trial phases, identifying and resolving customer concerns to drive successful outcomes
• Closing complex opportunities through deep competitive knowledge and technical credibility
• Delivering product briefings and technical presentations to prospective clients
• Maintaining detailed CRM notes on customer feedback, competitive insights, and outcome analyses
• Communicating product requirements and market intelligence between customers and internal teams

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone passionate about educating customers on observability and monitoring challenges meaningful to their business. You must be able to build and execute evaluation plans that demonstrate clear value.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate both business benefits and technical advantages
• Programming or scripting experience with languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, or.NET
• Ability to travel up to 45% of the time via auto, train, or air across UK, Nordics, and Netherlands
• Comfortable with extended travel periods including up to 4 hours sitting while traveling to client sites

Strong candidates will demonstrate the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes and build trusted advisor relationships with enterprise technical stakeholders.
