Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization expanding their engineering capabilities in Brazil. Our talent team is searching for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer who excels at solving complex infrastructure challenges while maintaining a balance between velocity and reliability.

This role is ideal for engineers who view platform infrastructure as a product and are passionate about enabling development teams through automation, tooling, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate shared infrastructure platforms that support product growth and international expansion
• Collaborate across teams to deliver pragmatic, end-to-end solutions for real-world engineering challenges
• Continuously improve developer experience through simplification, automation, and reduced time-to-market
• Train and coach software engineers on DevOps and SRE practices to enable team autonomy at scale
• Manage platform security, compliance requirements, and cost optimization
• Stay current with emerging technologies and architectures, applying sound judgment to their potential applications
• Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and mentor team members to promote technical growth
• Analyze and resolve complex problems with a focus on scalability and performance

What We're Looking For

• Significant site reliability engineering experience
• Strong focus on code simplicity, quality, security, performance, and maintainability
• Proven ability to design pragmatic and scalable architectures
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Passion for treating infrastructure as a product and prioritizing developer experience
• Comfort with technologies such as: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, GitHub, and monitoring platforms
• Familiarity with languages like Ruby, TypeScript, Golang, Python, or Java is helpful but not required
• Understanding of business needs and how infrastructure decisions impact users
