Senior Project Manager (all genders)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital solutions organization based in Hamburg. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project leader to manage large-scale IT initiatives with meaningful societal impact. We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to join interdisciplinary teams working on digital transformation projects across government, public sector, and enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead large IT projects using agile, classical, or hybrid methodologies from inception through delivery
• Act as Product Owner in agile project setups, translating client requirements into technical solutions and processes
• Manage projects across diverse technology stacks including CMS, form management systems, low-code platforms, custom application development, workplace solutions, and cloud infrastructure
• Provide strategic consulting on digital transformation initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and manage interfaces between multiple stakeholders
• Design and facilitate client workshops, developing strategies for efficient implementation of digital solutions
• Identify optimization opportunities in internal and external collaboration, create targeted recommendations, and drive change processes
• Contribute to methodology and toolset development while mentoring junior project management colleagues

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing IT projects with demonstrated project leadership capabilities
• Strong command of agile and/or classical project methodologies
• Relevant certification such as PMI/PMP, Prince2, IPMA, Scrum PSPO/PSM, LeSS, or SAFe Agilist strongly preferred
• Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges and experience delivering websites, intranets, mobile apps, digital application systems, or specialized business applications
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate all levels of project organization and explain complex topics clearly to diverse audiences
• Strong client relationship skills with an eye for identifying business development opportunities
• University degree in a relevant field
• Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken
