Working Student Global Licensing (DACH) (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential children's entertainment company in their search for a Working Student to support their Global Licensing team in the DACH region. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international licensing, working with major entertainment and toy industry partners across North America and EMEA.

Our client operates at the intersection of audio content, children's products, and global brand partnerships. You'll contribute to licensing projects from initial concept through to product launch, gaining exposure to commercial operations in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the licensing team in maintaining and coordinating relationships with international licensing partners
• Assist with international licensing projects across multiple phases—from initial discussions and contract negotiation through product development and market launch
• Provide commercial support by helping create and maintain licensing profit and loss statements (P&Ls)
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Coordinate communication between internal departments (product development, marketing, legal, finance) and external licensing agencies or partners
• Conduct market and industry research on current trends and developments in the global licensing and entertainment sectors, preparing findings for the team

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled student, ideally in Business Administration, Media Management, Communications, or a related field
• Interest in or initial exposure to the global toy and entertainment industry
• Strong numerical aptitude with a basic understanding of commercial concepts and confident use of Excel and reporting tools
• Previous internships or working student experience in licensing, marketing, or business development is advantageous but not required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English
• Confident when interacting with external partners
• Proactive, structured, and eager to learn; comfortable working independently in an international, fast-paced environment
• Based in or able to work from Düsseldorf
