Senior Production Engineer – DGX Cloud

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization operating large-scale GPU clusters for AI and high-performance computing workloads. Our client is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to join their team building automation, tooling, and operational systems that make GPU infrastructure reliable, scalable, and production-ready. This is a remote opportunity available in the United States and Canada.

You'll be part of a production engineering team focused on Kubernetes-based infrastructure, cluster operations, reliability engineering, and Day 2 operability across distributed cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate automation for large-scale GPU clusters across cloud partner and on-premises environments
• Develop tools and services for provisioning, validation, upgrades, monitoring, repair, and cluster lifecycle management
• Improve Day 0, Day 1, and Day 2 workflows for cluster deployment, handoff, and production operations
• Reduce manual operational overhead through APIs, GitOps practices, automation frameworks, and agent-assisted workflows
• Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, production debugging, and post-incident remediation work
• Collaborate with platform, storage, networking, security, and workload teams to ensure infrastructure meets production standards

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience building or operating production infrastructure at scale
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, containers, cloud infrastructure, or infrastructure automation
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot distributed systems in production environments
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Preferred experience:

• GPU infrastructure, Kubernetes operators, GitOps workflows, Terraform, ArgoCD, or fleet automation platforms
• SLOs, on-call practices, incident response, observability tooling, and site reliability engineering
• Bare metal as a service, VM management platforms, managed Kubernetes services, or multi-cloud infrastructure
