Senior Product Manager – Core Experience

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential workflow automation platform in their search for a Senior Product Manager to own the core building experience. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape how technical users go from initial idea to production-ready workflows, balancing simplicity with power across the entire product journey.

You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, user experience, and technical platform capabilities—identifying the highest-leverage problems, shipping solutions that feel intuitive yet capable, and continuously improving based on real usage and community feedback.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the core workflow-building experience, making it simple for first-time users while enabling experienced builders to create sophisticated, production-grade automations
• Identify and solve the most impactful problems across the builder journey—from setup and configuration to debugging, connectivity, and workflow evolution
• Reduce friction in the path from concept to working workflow, particularly around integration setup, AI model access, credential management, and external service connectivity
• Shape platform experiences that balance extensibility with usability, ensuring streamlined interfaces scale to advanced and business-critical use cases
• Define product strategy for integrations, data handling, reusable capabilities, and emerging standards while maintaining flexibility without unnecessary complexity
• Drive product decisions through deep customer and community engagement, combining qualitative insights with quantitative data and strong product judgment
• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Data, Developer Relations, Documentation, Product Marketing, Support, and Customer Success
• Set clear success metrics, prioritize product bets, and own outcomes through fast learning loops and experimentation

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Experience:

• Proven track record shipping impactful software products in fast-moving environments with clear ownership of outcomes, decisions, and tradeoffs
• Builder mindset—entrepreneurial and hands-on, comfortable moving from ambiguous problems to prototypes to shipped products quickly
• Excellent product and UX judgment with a strong instinct for simplifying technical complexity into intuitive, polished experiences
• Technical fluency to reason about APIs, integrations, authentication, schemas, data flows, and system constraints and partner effectively with engineers
• Strong product discovery skills—getting close to users, uncovering underlying problems, validating assumptions, and turning insights into focused decisions
• Data fluency to define meaningful metrics, investigate product behavior and funnels, and combine quantitative evidence with qualitative insight
• AI-native product thinking—active use of modern AI tools and understanding of opportunities and product challenges in AI-powered experiences

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Developer product experience building for technical users and understanding great builder experiences
• Integrations platform work involving third-party APIs, authentication, developer platforms, or integration ecosystems
• Community or open-source product development alongside developer communities, contributors, or external ecosystems
• AI product experience with LLMs, agents, model providers, evaluations, or AI platform capabilities and their unique tradeoffs
• Experimentation skills using prototypes, experiments, and incremental releases to learn quickly
• Cloud/SaaS experience understanding reliability, scalability, security, and enterprise considerations for critical products
