Senior SAP Data Management Consultant (m/w/d) – ILM & S/4HANA Transformation

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology consultancy seeking a Senior SAP Data Management Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will:

• Provide strategic consulting to clients on SAP data management initiatives, including data volume management, archiving via SAP ILM, and system decommissioning
• Lead data cleansing and volume optimization projects, organizing the structured retirement of legacy systems
• Design and implement ILM requirements through system customizing and configuration
• Conduct technical analysis of system landscapes and develop custom solutions for complex data challenges
• Contribute your expertise to S/4HANA transformation project design and execution
• Develop and evolve data management standards, methodologies, and project approaches, including automation and AI-driven initiatives
• Prepare, facilitate, and present client workshops for migration concept development and strategic planning

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a consultant who brings:

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or comparable qualification
• Deep knowledge of the SAP ecosystem with proven experience delivering data management projects, ideally using SAP ILM or archiving solutions
• Track record in SAP transformation projects, either as a consultant or on the client side
• Detailed understanding of SAP architecture with experience in both technical and functional concepts
• Strong analytical thinking, creative problem-solving abilities, and project management experience
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in German and working proficiency in English
