(Senior) SAP IS-U / SAP S/4HANA FI-CA Consultant (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization specializing in the energy sector across German and European markets. Our talent team is seeking a (Senior) SAP IS-U / SAP S/4HANA FI-CA Consultant to support digital transformation and system optimization projects for utilities clients. This is a fully remote position based in Germany.

Our client combines deep process expertise in energy industry core workflows with advanced technological capabilities in SAP S/4HANA Utilities. You'll work on diverse projects ranging from ongoing system optimization to complex transformation initiatives, all while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to German and European energy sector clients on all SAP FI-CA matters
• Take responsibility as sub-project leader for requirement implementation and delivery
• Support clients in standardizing, analyzing, and advancing their processes, including migrations from SAP IS-U systems to S/4HANA Utilities platforms
• Create requirement specifications, design solutions, guide implementation, and organize client workshops and training sessions
• Assume ownership of specialized topics and mentor colleagues in your areas of expertise

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or vocational training in a commercial or technical field
• Familiarity with energy utility processes through hands-on sector experience, particularly market communication protocols such as REMADV and INVOIC
• 3-4 years of experience in configuration, implementation, and enhancement of SAP IS-U systems with focus on FI-CA, including add-ons for the German market (IDEX-GE or US4G)
• Experience in IT project management is a strong plus
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as ABAP or Java is beneficial
• German at native or near-native proficiency and fluent English for confident client interaction
