Senior Product Manager Claims (w/m/d/x)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential InsurTech organization seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their claims processing platform. In this role, you'll own end-to-end responsibility for a strategic product area that enables insurers to handle claims digitally, efficiently, and customer-first—from initial notification through final payout. This is an opportunity to shape how insurance companies modernize their core operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a clear product vision and prioritized roadmap for the claims domain, driving product success from first notice of loss (FNOL) through settlement and payout
• Design and implement claims process automation including rule-based and AI-powered claims assessment, dark processing workflows, and efficient settlement processes
• Lead structured discovery processes and write precise requirements that enable engineering and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases quickly
• Actively integrate AI tools into your workflow to operate at a higher level—using structured prompts for rapid prototyping, automated pipelines for user feedback analysis, and data-driven specifications
• Communicate priorities clearly to leadership and customers while measuring feature success through data-driven metrics and continuous user feedback
• Ensure seamless collaboration across the claims process for all stakeholders through effective status communication, task management, and dynamic document templates

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, InsurTech, or FinTech environments; experience with claims processes or insurance core systems is a strong advantage
• Strong operational drive and clear outcome orientation—you take genuine ownership from day one and drive initiatives through to successful completion
• AI fluency: you can demonstrate how AI has measurably improved your work in recent months (e.g., reusable prompts, AI-assisted data analysis, automated workflows)
• Solid knowledge of agile frameworks and requirements engineering, plus proficiency with common PM tools such as Jira, Figma, and analytics platforms
• Excellent analytical capabilities and fluency in both German and English (C1 level) to bridge effectively between technical and business stakeholders
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin; remote-friendly arrangement with occasional office visits
