IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d) – Windows Server

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization based in Frankfurt am Main, and our talent team is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator with strong Windows Server expertise. In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop the internal server infrastructure based on Windows Server 2022 and Hyper-V
• Design and implement Active Directory structures, Hyper-V environments, group policies, and file/print server architectures
• Take ownership of IT security initiatives including Windows environment hardening, patch management, and permissions frameworks
• Lead technical implementation for IT projects, collaborating closely with the IT team and project management
• Document your work using project management tools and maintain clear communication across stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a candidate with:

• Proven hands-on experience designing, building, and administering Windows Server environments
• Practical experience with hybrid cloud scenarios (Azure / Entra ID) and solid knowledge of IT infrastructure including networking and backup systems
• Completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician) or comparable qualification with relevant experience
• Structured, goal-oriented working style with the ability to manage complex tasks effectively
• Strong communication skills, team collaboration mindset, and German language proficiency at C1 level

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience administering telecommunications solutions or unified communications systems
• Solid knowledge of switching, routing, firewalls, and VLANs
• Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions
