Senior Product Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI and customer service technology organization based in London. Our talent team is recruiting for a Senior Product Engineer to join a high-performing multidisciplinary product team. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the London office.

As a product engineer with our client, you'll solve real customer problems through smart and efficient application of technical knowledge. You'll build both back-end and front-end systems while working closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts on scaling challenges that impact millions of users daily.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical plans and contribute to technical architecture for products serving tens of millions of users daily
• Write Ruby code integrating AWS infrastructure, platform technologies, and SaaS systems
• Ship code to production rapidly—a change on day one, a feature in your first week, as part of 100+ daily deployments
• Build using industry-leading AI-powered developer tools that remove friction and accelerate meaningful problem-solving
• Grow team capacity through mentoring engineers and participating in hiring
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver customer value through pragmatic engineering solutions

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering, preferably building SaaS products
• Demonstrated significant impact from your work on products and teams
• Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript (willingness to learn new languages is valued)
• Proven track record collaborating directly with product teams and designers to deliver user value
• Experience with distributed systems
• Strong pragmatic approach to engineering challenges within cross-functional teams
