Senior Product Designer (B2B SaaS Startup)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing, VC-backed B2B SaaS startup based in Berlin that is transforming how companies handle complex regulatory workflows. This organization has achieved exceptional growth over the past year and serves major enterprise clients across multiple industries. We're seeking a Senior Product Designer who thrives in ambiguity and can take ownership of the entire design process from problem to shipped solution.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete design loop from user problem discovery through shipped interface, minimizing handoffs and maximizing speed to market
• Leverage AI tools strategically as a force multiplier while applying critical editorial judgment to ensure quality and correctness
• Design solutions from first principles rather than defaulting to existing component libraries
• Craft polished, trustworthy interfaces with attention to the final details that differentiate good from great
• Work in small, focused product pods with direct collaboration across functions
• Drive measurable outcomes and track the impact of your work on key user metrics
• Stretch beyond traditional design boundaries by engaging with API documentation, conducting user research directly, and prototyping in code when appropriate
• Ship iteratively, collect user feedback, and refine rather than waiting for perfect clarity

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record shipping intuitive interfaces that users navigated successfully, with demonstrable impact on product metrics
• Strong visual design sensibility with exceptionally high standards for detail and craft
• Cross-functional range spanning design, product thinking, and engineering: you've built testable prototypes without waiting for detailed briefs
• Experience using AI coding tools to build functional prototypes and working knowledge of when to trust, edit, or reject AI-generated output
• Demonstrated personal AI workflows that accelerate your productivity
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and shipping based on imperfect information
• Portfolio or examples of shipped work required
• Fluency in English (C1 level or higher) required; German language skills are a plus
• Experience with high-stakes products in fintech, healthtech, logistics, or compliance domains is valuable but not required
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate

This role is not suitable if you: expect product managers to fully define problems before you engage, resist working with code or AI tools, consider your work complete after handing off Figma files, or measure success purely on aesthetic taste rather than user outcomes.
