About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential digital media organization seeking a Game News Writer to join their editorial team. This remote position offers aspiring games journalists valuable experience, professional mentorship, and portfolio-building opportunities in the entertainment media industry.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and stay current with gaming industry news and developments on a daily basis
- Identify and report on news stories that are relevant, timely, and engaging to a broad gaming audience
- Research thoroughly and source information accurately for all published content
- Write well-structured, compelling news articles five days per week (minimum 300 words per article)
- Publish content using the organization's content management system
- Collaborate professionally with editorial team members and department leadership
What We're Looking For
- Genuine passion for journalism, writing, and video games
- Strong command of English language fundamentals including grammar, sentence flow, article structure, and spelling
- Sufficient time availability to research and write cohesive articles five times weekly
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional editorial environment
- Reliable internet access and personal computer
- Degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, or related fields is a plus but not required
- No prior professional experience necessary—training will be provided
