Senior Product Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing European compliance technology company that is redefining how businesses approach security certification. Our client has built an intelligent platform that automates traditionally manual compliance processes, helping organizations achieve certification in weeks rather than months.

We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join a lean, high-impact design team working remotely across Europe. This is a rare opportunity to own features end-to-end—from customer research through production—in a technical environment where design thinking drives product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own product features from initial customer conversations through live production deployment
• Write detailed product specifications and run ticketing workflows without PM support
• Collaborate directly with engineering teams (typically 1-2 engineers per project) throughout the build process
• Maintain and evolve the component library and design system that enables the team to ship quickly
• Conduct customer research, frame problems, and make final decisions on what ships
• Review pull requests and verify production implementations match design intent
• Build tools, prompt templates, and design QA processes that enable engineers to execute design work independently
• Create production-grade prototypes using real components, states, and copy—not static wireframes
• Leverage AI tools to pressure-test ideas, draft specifications, and surface edge cases

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years designing B2B SaaS desktop applications at Staff or Principal level, with expertise in complex interfaces including tables, filters, permissions, and settings pages
• Proven experience as the only designer or one of 2-3 designers in companies under 50 people
• Portfolio demonstrating individual ownership—you can articulate specific design decisions you defended, engineering partnerships, and measurable outcomes
• Advanced proficiency in Figma with or without AI assistance
• Active experience using LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) as part of your design workflow
• Strong product thinking skills—comfortable framing problems, writing specs, and making product decisions without dedicated PM support
• Ability to rapidly iterate based on engineering feasibility constraints, finding 80% solutions that ship quickly rather than perfect solutions that take three weeks
• Clear, concise communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Comfortable working synchronously within CET/CEST time zones
• Experience treating engineering feedback as valuable input rather than blocking constraints

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are based on experience level assessed during interviews.

This is a remote position open to candidates located in Europe (EMEA region, CET/CEST time zones). The role includes equity participation, 26 days holiday plus local public holidays, health insurance, professional development budget, and remote workspace support.
