About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential medical technology organization based in München. They are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop video analysis solutions that support surgical workflows and clinical decision-making.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply computer vision and deep learning techniques to real-world healthcare challenges, working with complex video and sensor data in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for video analysis tasks including event detection, image segmentation, and object detection
- Participate in the full ML development lifecycle from requirements gathering and data processing through model training, experimentation, and production deployment
- Build scalable services that extract actionable insights from medical video data
- Leverage modern ML training platforms and orchestration tools to support model development and deployment
- Collaborate with software engineers and ML engineers to integrate intelligent components into platform services
- Drive innovation in automation and intelligent assistance tools for clinical applications
- Shape the productization of AI-based video solutions for medical use cases
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, natural sciences, or related field
- 3+ years of professional experience applying modern machine learning methods and computer vision techniques to image processing challenges
- Strong hands-on experience with state-of-the-art ML tooling including experiment management, containerization, orchestration, processing pipelines, and data version control
- Demonstrated experience developing complex software systems in Python and/or other programming languages
- Experience gained through industrial projects or PhD research in a relevant domain
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments (AWS experience is a plus)
- Prior work on AI-based products in the medical technology industry is advantageous
- Self-directed work style with creative problem-solving abilities
Location and Work Arrangement
This position is based in München with a hybrid work model available within Germany. The client offers flexible working hours to support work-life balance.
