Campaign Manager (m|w|d) – Elternzeitvertretung

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client in Berlin for a 12-month parental leave cover as Campaign Manager. In this role, you will take operational ownership of retail media campaigns, ensuring they are executed successfully, optimized using data-driven insights, and continuously improved to balance commercial performance with user experience.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Operational management and optimization of onsite advertising campaigns including sponsored product ads and custom branding formats
• Continuous monitoring and improvement of relevant KPIs
• Campaign setup, quality assurance, and reporting in collaboration with advertising clients (brands, agencies, and retailers)
• Close partnership with sales teams on campaign planning, execution, and performance feedback
• Performance data analysis and derivation of concrete optimization measures
• Supporting the development of pricing logic and inventory management in coordination with leadership
• Advancing processes, standards, and reporting structures within the onsite advertising domain
• Identifying optimization and upselling opportunities together with the sales team

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a hands-on campaign professional with:

• Experience in digital advertising, retail media, or performance marketing
• Proven hands-on experience in campaign management and performance optimization
• Strong understanding of retail media KPIs, auction mechanics, and inventory management
• Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven working approach
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, product, tech, and data
• Structured, precise, and independent working style with high ownership and solution orientation
• A hands-on, results-focused attitude—you drive initiatives forward, remove obstacles, and deliver outcomes even in ambiguous situations
• Fluent German and good English communication skills
