(Senior) Frontend Engineer (F/M/*)

We are looking for someone who sees frontend development as more than writing code—someone who crafts exceptional user experiences through modern frameworks, responsive design, and innovative solutions. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to architectural decisions and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable applications using Vue.js and Nuxt.js
• Collaborate closely with product and backend teams to define and implement seamless RESTful API integrations
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code that serves as an example for the team
• Identify performance bottlenecks and continuously optimize the frontend stack
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help define frontend tooling and conventions
• Conduct code reviews and actively mentor mid-level and junior developers
• Stay current with modern web technologies and promote continuous improvement in code quality and team collaboration
• Take ownership of delivering key features and support the team during critical releases

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in frontend development, including practical experience with Vue.js and Nuxt.js
• Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/SASS
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, authentication flows, and asynchronous data handling
• Comfort working with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
• Experience with modern frontend tooling like Webpack or Vite
• Testing best practices using tools such as Jest, Cypress, or similar frameworks
• Strong UI/UX sensibility and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams
• Track record of reliably completing tasks you've started
• Fluency in English
• Must be located in Germany
• Nice to have: experience with the Composition API and knowledge of backend integration with Node.js
