About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential DevTools SaaS organization in their search for a Product Manager focused on developer reliability and AI-native software challenges. This is a fully remote role for candidates located between UTC-3 and UTC+3 time zones.

Our client builds monitoring and testing infrastructure used by thousands of engineering teams globally. They serve both emerging AI companies and established enterprise organizations. The platform enables developers to define monitoring as code, integrated directly into their development workflows.

As software increasingly ships with AI assistance—from coding agents to LLM-backed features—traditional reliability approaches are breaking down. This role exists to define what monitoring and observability mean when AI-generated code and probabilistic systems replace deterministic workflows. You'll shape product strategy in a market being rewritten in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering leadership to shape company and product strategy, deciding where the platform plays in the AI testing, monitoring, and observability landscape
  • Define the product vision for reliability tooling in an AI-native world, addressing how teams monitor agent-driven workflows, AI-generated code, and LLM-backed features
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, sales, and marketing teams
  • Represent the product directly to customers and within developer communities
  • Own outcomes end-to-end in a lean, fast-moving environment without layers of delegation
  • Work in an async-first, documentation-heavy culture where decisions happen in written threads more than meetings
  • Ship rapidly and adapt as customer signals and market conditions evolve

What We're Looking For

Required technical background: You must have hands-on experience building software—as an engineer, founder, or solutions engineer. You've written real code, shipped real products, and can reason independently about APIs, CLIs, system architecture, and how technical components fit together. This is non-negotiable.

Startup experience: You've worked in startup environments where you're comfortable with ambiguity, small teams, and owning complete outcomes without enterprise infrastructure around you.

Technical product experience: You've built technical products, ideally developer tools. Adjacent technical products count. Monitoring or observability experience is valuable but not required.

Product management level: New to the PM title? That's fine if you're transitioning from founding or solutions-engineering roles and ready to focus fully on product.

AI fluency: You're technical enough to prototype in code, create mockups, or pressure-test technical viability yourself. You use AI tooling extensively and without hesitation—AI skepticism will not work in this environment.

Location and travel: Must be based in UTC-3 to UTC+3 time zones and able to travel to European countries without lengthy visa processes.

What won't work: This role requires comfort with constant AI integration, async-written communication over meetings, lean operations where you handle unglamorous work alongside strategy, rapid priority shifts, and customer-signal-driven decisions over personal intuition. If you prefer stable planning cycles, in-person collaboration, or leading with your own bold bets before earning customer validation, this environment will frustrate you.
