About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential professional services organization seeking a Senior Estimator to support large-scale construction projects and programs across the United States. Our client values accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to deliver comprehensive cost management services from concept through detailed design.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design across multiple geographic regions, coordinating with internal and external teams
  • Deliver and present updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones
  • Provide program-level estimates for specific scopes of work
  • Coordinate, manage, and supervise the work of support staff
  • Review proposed design changes and new technologies, preparing estimates within appropriate accuracy levels
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize cost information from completed projects to drive cost model trends
  • Assess cost effectiveness of alternate products and value engineering ideas at a program level
  • Support training on new project estimating tools and templates
  • Assist with preparation of leadership presentations for preconstruction and estimating teams
  • Deliver life cycle costing models
  • Adhere to control responsibilities where applicable

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction cost management
  • Background in roles such as Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Cost Controls
  • Experience providing conceptual estimating services and pre-construction services at a construction management or related firm
  • Track record supporting large-scale construction projects and programs
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including value management and value engineering
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
