(Senior) ERP Consultant DMS (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential ERP solutions provider seeking an experienced DMS Consultant to join their team across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.

In this role, you will guide mid-market clients through document management transformation and digital process optimization within their ERP ecosystem. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Analyzing existing workflows and developing tailored DMS solutions in close collaboration with project managers, developers, and client key users
• Gathering and evaluating client requirements, producing detailed specifications
• Supporting clients in process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Designing, configuring, and implementing business processes within the ERP system across one or more functional areas
• Performing testing, error analysis, and quality assurance of ERP processes
• Preparing and delivering workshops and training sessions for key users and end users
• Creating and maintaining documentation, training materials, and process descriptions
• Contributing to the development of standardized, reusable ERP process solutions

For senior-level candidates, additional responsibilities include:

• Coordinating work packages and mentoring junior colleagues
• Providing technical leadership within the consulting team
• Developing best practices and supporting strategic ERP decisions

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in business, technology, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience as an ERP Consultant or ERP Key User
• Strong understanding of business processes and operations
• Hands-on experience implementing and customizing ERP systems
• Professional background in DMS consulting, document management, or digitization of document processes
• Familiarity with DMS, ECM, or archiving systems
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Excellent communication skills and genuine enjoyment working with clients
• Confident presence, strong presentation skills, and team spirit
• Willingness to travel moderately

For senior candidates, we also seek:

• Proven experience leading complex ERP projects
• Ability to shape processes strategically and develop cross-departmental solutions
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring colleagues
