Senior eCommerce Consultant (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

We're seeking a Senior eCommerce Consultant to join their Business Services team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. This role is based in London or Manchester on a hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

As Senior eCommerce Consultant, you will:

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality consultancy outputs that solve complex client challenges in the digital commerce landscape
• Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders on major accounts, building and nurturing trusted relationships
• Provide strategic guidance leveraging your specialist sector knowledge in retail, FMCG/CPG, B2B, or automotive industries
• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify pain points, opportunities, and areas for improvement in client eCommerce operations
• Develop and present compelling proposals, roadmaps, and presentations that clearly articulate value propositions and solutions
• Lead, mentor, and coach junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and generate new business
• Support delivery functions with business insights to keep teams focused on measurable outcomes
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, incorporating relevant learnings into client work
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, output quality, and client satisfaction

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Extensive experience in management or consultancy roles within the eCommerce domain
• In-depth specialist sector knowledge in at least 1-2 areas: retail, FMCG/CPG, B2B, or automotive
• Deep understanding of digital ecosystems and technologies, including eCommerce platforms (such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud), CMS, PIM, and related systems
• Strong knowledge of agile software delivery methodologies
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Advanced problem-solving capabilities with the ability to analyze complex business problems, think laterally, and develop creative solutions
• Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills, particularly with senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and rapidly get to the core of client problems through active listening and strategic questioning
• Passion for client success and a commitment to exceeding expectations
• Willingness to travel to client sites within the UK and potentially within the EU
