Senior Data Scientist

We are representing a confidential technology client seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team on a remote basis. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai specializes in placing experienced data professionals with innovative organizations across North America, LATAM, Europe, and APAC.

This is a remote contract opportunity offering the flexibility to work from your location while contributing to meaningful projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data science projects from the ground up with minimal supervision
• Develop and implement solutions leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Models (LLM)
• Work extensively with Python and Databricks to deliver scalable data science solutions
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to justify technical decisions and discuss business requirements
• Deliver results quickly after onboarding to new projects and adapt to evolving priorities
• Architect robust data science applications with a deep understanding of system design

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist
• 3+ years of hands-on commercial experience with Python (required)
• 3+ years of commercial experience working with Databricks (required)
• Proven experience implementing RAG and LLM solutions (required)
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to create projects from scratch and architect complex applications
• Advanced English communication skills—you must be able to clearly discuss business tasks, present your work, and participate in client-facing conversations
• Excellent self-management and organizational abilities to thrive in a fully remote, autonomous work environment
• Demonstrated reliability and professional accountability
• Flexibility to onboard promptly and begin delivering impact quickly
