(Senior) CRM / Lifecycle Marketing Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a CRM and lifecycle marketing professional to take ownership of retention across multiple brands. You will build, manage, and optimize customer journeys from welcome through reactivation, working autonomously with direct impact on business outcomes.

• Build and optimize Klaviyo flows and campaigns across multiple parallel brands—from welcome sequences to win-back automation
• Own email as the core channel while supporting expansion into print mailings, WhatsApp, SMS, and RCS with cross-channel thinking
• Launch campaigns independently and iterate based on results—speed over perfection, with rapid testing and refinement
• Turn data into action: use RFM segments, product and engagement data, customer profiles, and predictions (repeat purchase, CLV, churn) to create personalized, relevant messaging
• Lead creative storytelling: craft compelling hooks, initial design briefs, and emotional messaging that resonates
• Deploy AI and automation tools to move faster from concept to live test, freeing time for strategic and creative work
• Communicate results clearly to internal teams and brand stakeholders, serving as a strategic sparring partner

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years hands-on CRM/lifecycle marketing experience with measurable results, ideally in e-commerce or D2C
• Strong practical knowledge of Klaviyo or comparable marketing automation platforms; you think in customer journeys and understand retention mechanics (repeat purchase, CLV, churn)
• AI-native workflow: you actively use LLMs, n8n, Cursor, and similar tools in daily work
• You build: flows, segments, and templates are created by you; you launch independently, learn from results, and iterate quickly
• Confident with segmentation, triggers, A/B testing, and deliverability best practices
• Clean, responsible handling of consent and data protection (GDPR)
• Data-driven mindset: you translate analytics dashboards into concrete actions
• Creative instinct: you develop briefs from scratch and deliver campaigns with strong hooks; you understand the connection between creative and performance
• Category empathy for copy and creative: you can step into the customer perspective and let that inform your messaging
• Fluent German and strong English communication skills
