We are representing a confidential hospitality organization in their search for an experienced technical leader to oversee hotel operations across Germany. This is a senior leadership role with significant autonomy and strategic impact.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure trouble-free technical operations and maintenance across 20+ hotel properties nationwide
  • Lead and manage technical teams, including regional managers and property-level technical leaders
  • Develop investment and maintenance strategies in collaboration with individual locations
  • Monitor maintenance schedules, TÜV requirements, and compliance with legal regulations and corporate standards
  • Oversee technical cost-efficiency, energy management, and property value preservation
  • Coordinate technical activities across building management, infrastructure, and commercial facility operations
  • Manage tender processes, vendor relationships, and collaboration with external service providers and in-house engineering teams
  • Organize training programs and technical meetings for property-level technical leaders
  • Develop centralized maintenance and procurement contracts
  • Drive digitalization of technical processes and workflows across the organization

What We're Looking For

  • Completed technical university degree, ideally in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, supply systems, facility management, or comparable field
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience, including at least 5 years technical experience in the hotel industry
  • Broad understanding of building systems, operations technology, infrastructure, and supply systems
  • Proven experience leading decentralized organizations and teams
  • Strong background in project management and change management
  • High digital and IT affinity; experience with facility management systems preferred
  • Business-fluent German language skills required
  • Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 3-4 days per week)
  • Valid Class B driver's license
