About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting organization in Stuttgart that specializes in agile transformation and modern software development. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer (m/w/d) who combines deep technical expertise with strong consulting skills to drive challenging customer projects forward.

This is not a pure development role – you'll advise clients on technical decisions, shape software architectures, and actively contribute to enterprise-level solutions while working closely with architects, product owners, and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern software solutions in the Java ecosystem
• Provide technical consulting to clients on architecture decisions and implementation strategies
• Design and implement scalable software architectures
• Full-stack development in modern enterprise projects
• Analyze business requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions
• Contribute to technical standards and best practices across projects
• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality assurance
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and development teams

What We're Looking For

Technical Skills:

• Several years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong expertise in object-oriented software development
• Proven track record as a Senior Developer or Development Architect
• Solid experience with modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot)
• Expertise in developing modern web applications (frontend and backend)
• Proficiency with REST services, databases, and interfaces
• Confident use of Git and modern build and CI/CD processes
