Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential energy sector organization seeking an IT Systems Administrator to take ownership of their enterprise infrastructure. In this role, you will manage Windows Server 2025 environments, Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL Server operations. You will be responsible for client workstation setup and ongoing support, maintenance of multifunction devices, and administration of mobile endpoints including MDM solutions. Working with Baramundi, you will handle software packaging, distribution, and automation tasks. Your day-to-day will include 1st and 2nd level support delivered on-site, managing incidents through a ticketing system following ITIL frameworks, and applying your project management skills to coordinate software migrations, major updates, and external service providers.
What We're Looking For
- Strong expertise in Windows Server 2025 within enterprise environments
- Solid experience with Active Directory, Certificate Authority, PKI, Group Policy Objects, WSUS, and print server administration
- Proven ability to administer Windows client systems
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
- SQL Server administration skills; Oracle experience is a strong plus
- Proficiency with VMware and Veeam
- Baramundi experience highly desirable, particularly in software packaging, distribution, automation, and asset management
- Familiarity with ITIL-based incident handling via ticketing systems
- German language proficiency for on-site support in Augsburg
