About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare IT organization in their search for an experienced Sales Manager – New Business Development focused on hospital software solutions across Germany. This role is based in München with flexible options including Berlin, Hannover, Leipzig, or remote work arrangements.

Our client supports hospitals and healthcare facilities in digitizing processes, securing care delivery, and sustainably improving quality. As an experienced sales professional, you'll leverage your industry knowledge, network, and strategic sales expertise to advance digital transformation in the healthcare sector with innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer acquisition in the German hospital market (acute care, mixed facilities, and rehabilitation clinics)
• Position healthcare IT solutions strategically with C-level decision-makers
• Present hospital information systems with focus on customer value, process optimization, and efficiency gains
• Prepare, create, and negotiate proposals in coordination with technical teams
• Manage tender processes and public procurement procedures in collaboration with bid management
• Continuously expand your network with hospitals, partners, and associations through congresses, industry events, and professional gatherings

What We're Looking For

• Several years of proven experience in software sales within healthcare IT, ideally with exposure to hospital software or similar applications
• Deep understanding of hospital processes and decision-making structures
• Existing contacts with university hospitals and maximum-care providers
• Active network within healthcare industry associations
• Successful track record with public sector tender processes in healthcare
• Confident, professional presence combined with strong customer orientation and proven closing capabilities
• German language proficiency required for this market
