Product Designer (AI x Greentech) (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential greentech organization in Berlin that is building an AI-powered platform for renewable energy installers. As Product Designer, you will:

• Shape the interface and experience of an AI-powered operating system used by installers to run their businesses
• Design with a product lens, understanding user needs and business impact while maintaining high craft and polish
• Set and maintain a high bar for UX/UI design that is intuitive, accessible, and delightful across all product surfaces
• Redesign existing flows and interfaces, and create new ones from scratch, prototyping and iterating quickly
• Challenge ideas that don't meet quality standards and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to raise UX quality

What We're Looking For

• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking from discovery to execution with high-quality craft and problem-solving
• 2–3 years of experience as a product or UX designer, ideally in a startup or product-driven environment
• Strong product sense and comfort working in ambiguity; ability to make trade-offs balancing user and business impact
• Solid understanding of digital funnels, onboarding, and conversion journeys
• Experience with both quantitative data (A/B tests, funnel metrics) and qualitative data (user research, feedback)
• Track record of using data to grow feature adoption, activation, and retention
• Ability to leverage AI tools to speed up concepting and prototyping
• Clear communication skills with ability to translate requirements for developers and product teams
• Genuine empathy for users and a keen eye for design
